About Our Art Studio
Our art studio is small but cozy and fun. Students create, discover and experiment.
We encourage students to listen to their inner self, and pursue their own interests and feel the joy of creating.
Students go over various kinds of techniques, art terms, art making tools and materials to work with for both 2 dimensional and 3 dimensional works. (Drawing & painting, sculptures, needle works, etc..)
We value the process of creating rather than the finished product.
We encourage close observation and problem solving through creativity.
As our studio is small and we want every single student to have as much attention as possible from the instructor, our classes are either very small group class or private class.

We are located inside the Crown Education Center, which offers after-school programs (art, music, robotics, homework clubs, etc.) in Korea town, Los Angeles.

Meet Mika
Hello, I am Mika!
I am Japanese native art instructor and Japanese teacher, as well as a mother of 2 children. I graduated from Otis College of Art and Design and I have worked for various LA based artists including Doug Aitken, Mike Kelly, etc,. I love making art and offering art making experience to people, and I have a passion in teaching Japanese as well.
